This is a continuation of my trip to Amsterdam.  To start at the beginning, click here:  AMSTERDAM 2007.

This was my sixth time in Paris and I felt little need to rush around.  Mostly I wanted to enjoy the atmosphere and use my camera.  Well, I got one out of the two.  Most of the time the skies were dark and foreboding, yet I never used my umbrella even though I schlepped it around with me.  And it was chilly with daytime highs in the 50s and low 60s.  Cold for the month of May.  Now, atmosphere—that’s another story.  Paris is, well…Paris.  This was my first time staying in the Latin Quarter, near rue Mouffetard, one of the major street markets.  I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.  Sunday was the liveliest day with additional vendors.  An abundance of shoppers gave the market a festive atmosphere.
