I’ve been to many of the major museums in Paris, but this was my first visit to the Rodin.  We had lunch outdoors at the Rodin cafeteria as it was one of the few moments of sunshine during my time in Paris.  It's an interesting museum with a lovely garden.  I knew the Louvre was free on that Sunday, and was pleasantly surprised to find that the Rodin also had free admittance.
My visit to the Louvre was brief.  I hadn’t been there in 30 years and I found it overwhelming.  I followed advice from a bulletin board and entered through the Carousel entrance.  The shops and the food court were interesting and I was able to avoid the line at the pyramid.  I know this is one of the world’s major museums, but my preference remains the Musée d'Orsay.
As it was a gray day there was no line at Saint-Chapelle.  I’m sure that’s because people want to see the windows on bright days, but sunlight was not in my immediate future.
