Where Santorini is ethereal, Mykonos is hedonistic and is known for its jet-set clientle, excellent beaches, and action-filled nightclubs.

Mostly I like to wander the town which was built as a maze to confuse pirates, but now confuses only the tourists. There's much shopping to be done and many wonderful restaurants to sample. What appears to be cobblestone is actually paint. Clever, don't you think?

The mix of old and new adds to the feel of Mykonos. One minute you'll be walking down a narrow residential street where people have been living for hundreds of years and you have a sense of history. The next minute you're on an active street filled with young people where you'll hear the latest pop music.
